About Student Council

My photo
The Student Council works to initiate social events such as concerts, student exhibitions, internships, and community service opportunities. The Student Council holds weekly meetings open to all Institute students. We plan special events and projects to engage the student body and build a stronger artistic community. We do fundraising for student activities and Student Council in general. Most importantly we support students by giving the student body a "voice" Allowing every meeting to open with student input( such as ideas, complaints, etc).

First Letter from the Student Council President to the Students

Dear Students,
The New Hampshire Institute of Art has some of the most creative minds in the State. This is a group of passionate and driven individuals all beating to there own drum. Each person different yet all share the same passion in pursuing something they love. The students here have proven themselves over and over again in the realms of creativity, intellect, and talent. Something we take for granted because we compete with our equal peers and can't see beyond these classroom walls.
Student Council is here to build a foundation in which this school can grow artistically, socially, and united to create a art institute that will hold to a new standard.
I would like to encourage Students to take a larger role in getting involved here at NHIA. If you have any interest in getting involved, creating clubs, or volunteering then feel free to post and ask questions. If you would like you are more than welcome to get involved in student council and sit in on one of our meetings. The meetings are always open and student input is our main priority.

So I ask you to come forth and be a part of something bigger and better and you can start here at New Hampshire Institute of Art.
